I have lived in Colorado since the early 1970's and I love the area. I like to ski, snowmobile and hike, as well as ride horses. I also love to scuba dive, and I co-hold a World Skydiving Record recognized by Guiness and World Aviation Organizations.
When I am not having fun, I am working to increase my knowledge of this industry. I want to be able to always provide the best service and technology to you. So, I spend much time and money adding to my education, traveling the country to get advanced degrees in Real Estate.

Why are Advanced Degrees Important?
Once a person obtains a Colorado Real Estate License, he is only REQUIRED to attend additional education one day a year. Often, the same material is covered, so there is very little expansion of knowledge. Since licensing classes do not teach "real world" skills, the average licensee is poorly prepared to do real estate.

What are the options?
The Real Estate Industry provides several Advanced Curriculums, which require up to 96 hours of study each (or more). They are like a Masters degree in Real Estate. They focus on the skills of Listing and Selling Real Estate (CRS), Relocation (CRP), and representing Buyers (ABR).

The Benefit to YOU!
When you select a Broker that has obtained one or more of these Advanced Degrees, you have someone who has shown the initiative to excel, has invested his own time and money (significant amounts of both) and wants to be the BEST! He has more negotiating ability, more contract knowledge and is a better representative for you.

I am proud to hold the 3 Top Designations!
I have made a substantial effort to learn this business and improve my contract and negotiating skills, my marketing skills and to stay current on the latest technologies that benefit you! The designations are defined below.

Certified Residential Specialist (CRS)
This designation focuses on overall skills related to listing your property, marketing it, negotiating contracts, and then helping you find a replacement home. It is the Top Designation among REALTORS, and is held by a small percentage overall. Always ( at least) hire a CRS holder to represent you. There are other designations of importance, as shown below.

Certified Relocation Professional (CRP)
While the CRS is important, the area of Relocation is a specialty of it's own. There are many more issues and Client needs in a Relocation Transaction. This designation is the MOST DIFFICULT to obtain. The course work is extremely difficult, and you have to travel around the country to get it. The test to obtain it covers real estate, tax law, corporate issues, moving company and appraisal issues, and, of course, special needs of the Client during this type of move. Here is a "fun" fact: Of the approx. 700,000 Realtors in the US, less than 2000 (.2%)hold this Designation. I have held it from first availability in the 1980's!

Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR)
In the last few years, it has become common for Realtors to represent Sellers or Buyers in a transaction. Representing Buyers is different than Sellers in many ways. This designation recognizes significant class work and satisfied Buyer experiences. If you are moving to a new area, it is critical that you are represented, and that is best done by an ABR! I am an Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR).

I have the CRS, CRP and ABR Designations! You will have to look long and hard to find a Broker with my credentials! It means I work hard to be able to work well for you! Less than 1% of the Realtors in the US and Canada have my capabilities! You pay us the same, so why not get the BEST!

I hold the Top Designations with RE/MAX too.
I am a member of the RE/MAX International Hall of Fame, awarded for years of outstanding client service. I am proud of this achievement. I have been a RE/MAX Broker since 1979, ( one of their Pioneers!) and I have been licensed since 1975.
